Editorial policy
Prototype rules for independence, disclosures, corrections, measurements, and automated assistance.
Editorial independence
Manufacturers and advertisers do not approve verdicts or conclusions. Factual questions may be checked without surrendering editorial control.
Review-unit disclosure
Every review states whether a product was purchased, borrowed, supplied, or retained.
Advertising separation
Commercial relationships must not determine coverage, measurement results, or verdicts.
Affiliate-link disclosure
Affiliate links, when introduced, will be marked and will not change the price paid.
Corrections policy
Material corrections will be dated and described. Source updates will not silently rewrite the record.
Measurement methodology
Production graphs will identify equipment, calibration, load, sample rate, level, bandwidth, smoothing, and relevant uncertainty. Prototype graphs are explicitly marked as demonstration data.
Automated-assistance policy
Automation may identify sources and prepare drafts. A human editor must review source fidelity, attribution, claims, and publication labels before release.
